Senior php Developer
Position: Permanent
Location: Norwich
Soup are on the lookout for a php Developer. If you have the following skills and you're keen to work in our Norwich office, we're looking forward to hearing from you:
Key skills should include LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP);
You should have expertise in working with PHP and MySQL;
Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX;
Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design;
Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) and marketing (SEM);
Exposure to other server-side scripting languages such as JSP, ASP, CFM ;
Exposure to object-oriented languages such as Java and Microsoft .NET;
Knowledge of best practices for cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility;
Professional experience building database-driven web applications and websites;
3+ years professional web development experience;
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability;
Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling knowledge share within and across teams.

Other skills and experience we're looking for include:
Planning of technical projects with technical, project management and planning teams;
Quoting and scheduling projects;
Writing Technical Specifications;
Managing quality control on technical projects;
Attendance at client meetings;
1+ years managerial experience would be an advantage
