Going too far with UGC?

If those poor peoples’ lives weren’t already hard enough, the Beeb reckons they might have time to log on or perhaps text their pictures to them – I just wonder if they want these poor people to send their pics before or after they’ve been held at gunpoint for their worldly possessions?
