Suits on scooters

Outside our office came a faint rumble... a tremble beneath our chairs. And then it got louder, and louder, and then a weird smell started to swim through the room. Everyone bounded across to the windows and hung out to see the source of the commotion. To our delight a swarm of suits on scooters greeted us, complete with retro headgear. What's the stunt? Or are they just celebrating the opportunity to do something that turns people's heads and makes them grin? I am grinning. Although there is an outside chance that it's the result of the fumes.
